Hi I’m Shelley Pengilly, Brand Ambassador for Z.one Concept milk_shake hair UK and member of the International and UK artistic team. My passion is Hair Up and styling, for which I am now an International Educator. I am also an educator for Kapello celebrity hair extensions and milk_shake colour. It is important for me to keep up to date with my education, as the best stylists never stop learning. Hair styling is a visual art and I think of my clients as walking pieces of my artwork. I am the owner and creative director of a multi award-winning boutique salon in the UK, which has now been trading for ten successful years. My personal accolades include ‘Welsh Women’s Stylist of the Year’, and I’m proud to say my team were awarded ‘Best Team’ this year. I began hairdressing at the age of fifteen, and have over twenty years of industry experience. Throughout my career I have trained with Vidal Sassoon, ghd and Wella. Since joining the z.one concept artistic team, I have exhibited my work on stages throughout the UK and Europe. I continue to enter stage competitions and demonstrations in the UK with Hair Club Live and milk_shake.

Becky Wardrop

Since I first started my hairdressing career, I have always had a passion for colour. I have gained my knowledge working alongside many talented colourists and hairdressers and involving myself into as much education and competitions as possible during the early stages of my career. I trained with Rush Hair, working my way up the ranks onto their workshop team, this gave me the opportunity to work with the Art team on photoshoots, stage work and education seminars. It was here that I realised education was the role I wanted to take my career to.

That’s when the wonderful world of milk_shake came to my attention. In 2014 I started working as a colour educator for milk_shake, this lead onto becoming a member of the milk_shake Artistic team as a colourist, taking part in staged events throughout the UK and Europe. In 2015 I became the brands Education Manager, looking after and arranging the education for milk_shake and No Inhibition.

For me education is the key to becoming a successful and knowledgeable hairdresser, but it is also about having passion for what you do and I 100% LOVE what I do.

Hannah Finnimore

I discovered my passion for colouring early on in my career. After studying Milk_Shake, how the colour works and how to achieve the best results I became the South West educator for Milk_Shake. I strongly believe if you know the science of colour you will encounter fewer problems and be able to achieve the best possible results, having said that, our colour courses are always fun and very hands on – bring your gloves! As the world of colour is constantly changing, with new fashion trends and techniques, we absolutely must keep up and education is the key! As well as being part of the Milk_Shake family I spend the rest of my time working as a stylist in a salon. I face the same challenges we all do with our clients and understand the issues whilst working in a busy salon. I look forward to meeting you on the next course and sharing with you all I can.

Joss Smith-Reynolds

I trained at Vidal Sassoon, an experience that has helped shape my personal style and approach. I have spent the last 15 years as a salon owner. Alongside countless fashion shows and photo shoots I still spend much of my time behind the chair. It’s incredibly important to me to stay hands-on and to be in touch with the challenges you face every day. I am still driven by a passion to raise the profile and the knowledge in our industry and I believe that the only way to do this is to better educate ourselves to be more proficient at what we do – it’s never been just a job for me, it’s my profession. My sessions are designed to be exciting, fun and personally challenging for both you and me. I understand how a great cut can have a positive impact on someone’s life and I want to share that with you. Our education team have developed courses that are interesting and innovative, we recognise the different levels of learning and are able to flex the courses to the different needs of the group and the individual.

Harry Denning

Harry started his career with ‘Toni&Guy’ working his way to top stylist whilst being involved with both session hair and photo shoots, also being offered the chance to teach in the ‘Toni&Guy’ Academy as an Art Director. In order to broaden his horizons and learn different styles of work and techniques he moved to a smaller yet growing company. After working with Anthony Mascolo and Nick Irwin on the ‘Inspirational Youth’ project where he was selected as one of ten inspiring young hairdressers in the UK, he then began to share his experiences and knowledge back in the salons colleges. His aim is to bring all this experience and knowledge to our courses at PHAB, his goal is to change the way we develop and progress learners into becoming inspired and motivated hairdressers. The revolution is coming.

Matt Young

Matt is a social media specialist. He’s helped train the team here at PHAB and has over 6 years experience working solely on social media. He has a broadcasting and communications background which helps him understand how best to talk to your online audience. His training is always friendly and easy to understand and Matt doesn’t do corporate speak… “normal human beings don’t communicate that way.”
